BIOGRAPHY
Ludwig Wandinger is an experimental producer, drummer, composer and visual artist, based in Berlin.
He has worked and performed with a variety of forward thinking musicians and artists such as Elvin Brandhi, Kianí del Valle, Luka Aron, Evita Manji, Grischa Lichtenberger, Brodinski, Female Pentimento, Yves B. Golden, Sara Persico, Jim Black, Keith Rankin, the Notwist, Klahrk, the Berliner Ensemble, Kirke Karja, Dan Nicholls, House of Base, John Object, Zylva, Elias Stemeseder, Fausto Mercier, Petter Eldh, TAU, Roomer, Moran Sanderovich, Lucia Cadotsch, Nomi Sladko and many more.
His music got released on genre-defying labels Light Years, Orange Milk Records, Gin and Platonic, Creamcake, 3XL, Mutants Mixtape, Acna Rusd and Average Negative, accompanied by collaborational releases and co-production credits for releases on PAN, A Flooded Need, Squama, Genot Centre, BMC and SFX.
Over the years he had the chance to go perform in Ecuador, China, Switzerland, Vietnam, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Philippines, Canada, Poland, Indonesia, Iceland, Austria, Romania, Finland, Estonia, and Norway with highlight festivals being the likes of Jazz Fest Berlin, Moers Festival, Magnet Festival, A l´Arme Festival, 3hd Festival, Punkt Festival, Jazzfestival Reykjavik and many more.
His multimedia art gets released under the moniker "kirschbluetenimwind" and has been presented at the "Digital Fog" exhibition at Urban Contemporary in Berlin 2022, the Keyframe Digital Art Festival in Vienna 2022, the Pop Up Gallery Berlin 2022, the "Mana Exhibition" in Shibuya, Tokyo 2022, as a part of the collective “1_1pr_f2r_sm” showcase at Art Basel Hongkong 2023 and at the exhibition "The Staircase - Nah...Nobody Home" in Prague 2023 by Proto Gallery Systems.
In 2024 he got selected as a signature artist of the Monheim Triennale.
